Yes I think it's possible. We are naturally social beings and whilst there are a few nutters out there, I like to think that the vast majority of people who use the Internet are decent. I think you need to be sure that what you're being told by the other person is actually true. It's all to easy to lie about yourself or embellish things online.

basically, there are people who don't and who do.
well, with me, I stand for NEITHER.
i mean, there might've been people who have met their almost-perfect companions for life. i.e. the people who replied to this message proving this statement True for you.
it'll definitely be alot better if it's you've gotten to know the person more and have met him/her already.that really helps.
me myself, have already experienced having rel'shps online[or sometimes flingies/flings,whatever you call it] but he lives so many miles away.other than yearning for his/her presence, you can't still getaway with the fact that:
1.geographically apart.WAY apart.[for some,and i'm one of them.]
2.you don't know the person.know as in KNOW.[you might not even be aware he's already cheating on you for another online guy/girl or even he/she already HAS a REAL boy/girlfriend.
3.Love is definitely within your own definition. You define love for yourself. It just comes along and does its wonders. :D
4.Are you satisfied this way?i mean Are you satisfied with Just chatting online?
5.Will you be able to sustain your longings/desperation for that person?
6.TRUTH BITES
...Good for those who've found themselves
...Bad for those who were left betrayed and felt stupid for themselves for engaging in this.
P.S. If you really are willing to meet him and get to know each other more,I think that'll be good.not that i'm telling you to do so..that's just if you feel the need to meet him[or the other way around.]
Good Luck!

think about this. when you meet someone on-line and both of you are being honest with each other you really have the opportunity to get to know each other and become friends.
Unlike the dating in person where you stress about how you look and the impression you are going to make, after a few dates you are intimate and then you find yourself in a sexual relationship and you are not truly learning about each other as deeply as you are talking on line.
met my wife on line and i love her like i never have another. we talked for 2 years before ever meeting and i know several couples who have met on line and are very happy.
if your either of you are not honest with your on-line communication the odds for a successful relationship are slim.

[^_^] he's great. and i felt this way long before i met him. i totaly believe in it. i'm going through it. ok, it might not be love just yet. but its GOOOD

No I don't believe in on-line love. Some people, actually I've heard from many people, that they have met friends on-line. Well the reality is that you have written to another person on line but this person is certainly not a friend. You have never been able to look directly into that person's eyes nor have you viewed them live. You could be speaking with anyone and they could be pretending to be someone other than who they actually are. Love is not something that should be taken so lightly.

THAT'S HOW I MET MY CURRENT HUSBAND 3 YEARS AGO. HE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, MY SOUL MATE. WE GET ALONG GREAT, WE NEVER FIGHT OR ANYTHING. THIS IS THE FIRST NORMAL HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WE BOTH HAVE HAD. ITS WONDERFUL. I BELIEVE THERE IS SOMEONE SPECIAL FOR EVERYONE. WHEN WE MET FOR THE FIRST TIME I KNEW IT IN MY HEART THAT HE WAS THE ONE, I COULD JUST FEEL IT. I KNEW HE WAS GONNA BE MINE AND I WAS RIGHT!
HE LIVED IN THE TOWN NEXT TO MINE. YOU ARE WHERE YOU ARE IN LIFE FOR A REASON. I ENDED UP HERE IN ILLINOIS CAUSE I WAS MEANT TO MEET HIM.
