My eating habits have been very poor as of late and my stomach has been messed up the last few days, what are some good and bad foods for the stomach? Does sleep have any affect on the stomach? Besides stress what are other factors that can be good and bad for the stomach?

There is a theory that not all people are created the same.
:-O

I know, that may come as a shock, especially to the medical industry who like to prescribe a "one size fits all" pharmaceutical/chemical treatment to all their patients.

But, just as one person may be able to gorge themselves on highly acidic type foods, others may not. This is the same reason why some people can consume milk products, while others have adverse affects to consuming milk products.

Our bodies, while reasonably resilient to a lot of abuse that we can put it through, prefers to have a healthy balance. You are correct to connect diet to being a major aspect of maintaining that balance.

What you should eat is dependent upon what is right for your body. This may be more of a trial and error process more than anything else.

But there are a few things that NOBODY should eat, as our bodies tend not to do so well with unnatural items.
For example, various chemically processed foods, (or ingredients that go in to foods), cause stresses on the body.
Examples of them are:
Refined sugar, refined flour, most table salts, mono-, di-, sugar substitutes, preservatives, [antibiotics injected in to animals, synthetic hormones injected in to animals, (these two are what make dairy so dangerous these days, especially cheese) ], trans fats and a plethora of other synthetic ingredients which are common to pre-packaged foods.

While stress and other emotional factors can also influence your digestive process, these things all contribute to each other.

Find balance in your life in all areas, and you will be amazed at the results. Proper, and safe diet is a great place to start.

acidic things tend to bother my stomach, as i have reflux problems. that includes lemons, limes, tomatoes, etc...

milk products upset my dad's stomach sometimes.

also, some kinds of fried foods get me too!

no food is good or bad ,but it should be in a balance proportion.i dont no about sleep.but sleep well .stress will be less if u sleep properly
