I ask many questions. Sometimes to get many opinion, different inputs, or to just learn as much as I can about my fellow man and his beliefs. Most of my questions are not yes/no's. I get the opinion some people think these are the only questions we should ask here. What do you think?

I think that straight yes--no answers don't expand knowledge in any way shape or form. I believe that explination is always necessary...but some folks are really long winded. PEACE!

No, I think many questions should be given answers that are not yes and no. Many of us are picking on others experience for help with are particular problem or needing some friendly advice. I would have to say though it is 50/50 here. 50 % of the questions are good and worth answering, and 50% of the answers are worth listening too. Hey' we don't live in a 100% perfect world, so I will take and use what I can get.

I just think that most ppl are here just want to get there levels up, so they just answer yes or no so they can get their 2 points. That's my opinion, since I too have answered yes or no with a short paraphrase to a couple of questions.

If you mean people think that you can only ask yes/no questions, the answer to them is no. You just have to ask a question, it doesn't matter what form the answer will be in.

Most of the questions I ask end up in the mathematics section. Imagine if I asked, "How do I calculate such and such given this and that?" and got the answer, "No."
