For some body and administration, i have used the mousse it truly is also incredibly reliable. I wash my hair contained in the morning and enable it dry evidently. The blow dryer creates a multitude! Have you checked out http://naturallycurly.com ? There's also a GREAT book called "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey and Deborah Chiel.

I suggest you try conditioner only washing, shampoo is like the ENEMY of wave and curl. It also seems to help if you detangle IN the shower while your hair is sopping wet, and then don't touch it while it's drying.

When you wash your hair:

Towel dry. Apply a dab of VO5 Conditioning Hairdressing from about the middle of your hair to the tips. Do not apply it to the roots or your hair will look greasy. (It comes in a tube. The box it is packaged in is gold colored).

For the rest of the week:

Use the VO5 just on the VERY ENDS of your hair or where ever it looks dry.

If you hang a crystal from your bedroom door, and a mirror opposite the third corner in your room, you will correct the feng shui of your home, and thus have hair that is beautiful with sexy curls 24/7.

Try putting Biosilk in your damp hair and brushing or combing it through. After that add some soft hold mousse (Back to Basics) and let air dry. Touch up with water and more mousse. This is the only process that works for me; I have naturally coars, thick, curly hair.

A good leave in conditioner and John Frieda Frizz-ease serum (I swear by that - although you won't get that run his finger through your hair effect)

Also - Pantene has a line for curls.

Put a smoothing serum in it before you brush it out. Put a bit more in the ends only after you brush it out.
