The funny thing about a head cold is, it is centered around your bodies center for thought processes, eating, breathing, etc.

You know when something is coming towards your face, and you block it with any other part of your body, possibly your hand? Well, that is because we know how important our face and head actually is. When we have a cold in that area, it affects everything! We cant breath right out of our nose, so we can only breathe out of our mouth, or vice versa. We have headaches which impair thinking. Our ears hurt like heck! Any pain in the head and face region is awful because we are always trying to protect this region.

Hope that helps...

Its the symptoms. It just makes you irritable, frustration, pain, goey stuff leaking all over the place, can't breathe properly, body feels lax and tired, eyes feel dry and gritty and you can hardly keep them open. Worst of all you need the rest but you start sweating and feeling either hot or cold, so you rest but at a price. I hate when I get any sort of cold.
