The riddle wasn't properly asked. The answer is language. But the questions says, there are three words in the English languages that end in "gry". There are not three words in " the English languages that end in "gry" ". Therefore, we can't use the logic that brings us to the answer "language".

On http://www.crossword-dictionary.com/default.asp I have found the third word that endsin "gry". It is unangry.

I don't have any clue what the reply is however the riddle by no means mentioned something approximately legs it simply says it went up the hill with 3 and down with 2... Um, perhaps the reply is a thief, in view that he is going to the marketplace and will get anything loose and subsequently he has pink hair so perhaps he received shot or anything.

Some say its "GRY"

Others will site "anhungry" (shows up in Shakespeare); others say puggry.

If you allow words that have "hungry" as an adjunct, the OED has loads of them.

The phrase "I am hungry". Les trois mots conclusent des lettres "gry" mais tu n'as pas dit que chacun mot doit concluser des lettres "gry". If that's the question, then there is no answer. Regardez Wikipédie.

Oh, oh I know the answer! La réponse est "one". You put it in capitals.

MonkeyMan, le mot que tu cherches est "dungaree".

Translation of French sentences:

Les trois mots conclusent des lettres "gry" mais tu n'as pas dit que chacun mot doit finir avec des lettres "gry".
The three words conclude in "gry" but you did not state that each of the three words had to end in "gry".

Regardez Wikipédie.
Check Wikipedia.

La réponse est "one".
The answer is "ONE".

MonkeyMan, le mot que tu cherches est "dungaree".
MonkeyMan, the word you're looking for is "dungaree".

The answer is three.
It is the third word in the question, and the rest of the question is irrelevant
