My girlfriend is beautiful to me and I love her loads but she's got some really odd quirks. The most disturbing of which is her obsession with cats. Most of the time I'm with her she'll come out with strange comments about cats like "the cat was called Byron Von Roddick" or more recently stuff about it dead, "the cat had turned up buggered and strangled in the toilet." Then she'll burst out into fits of giggles. It's really strange - I don't even know what's supposed to be funny!
After going out with her for 5 months this started to become a feature in the bedroom as well. She'd tell me to pretend she was a cat and she'd meow and slink around like a cat, which I actually don't mind. She says that women are very catlike. But now she's gone and bought this cat halloween costume and is insisting on wearing it in bed the next time we have sex.
I'm not going to leave her - she's great and unique, but I'm becoming a bit bored with cat this cat that. How to I get her to cool it? Thanks.

So she wore the cat costume tonight and insisted I "hold the tail" while we do it doggy style! How do I confront her about it? I really don't know whether she's playing some practical joke on me or being serious. She keeps bursting out into fits of laughter. It's really putting me off. Has no one come across something like this? I did try and broach the subject but she only said that she's always found cats funny. And that's it! She also grew up with a house full of them. I'm going to ask her about that....

Just be honest with her, obviously she's got this fantasy about being a cat but if it doesn't turn you on, you should just say so. Fantasies are a very personal thing and it's not always easy to agree on them when you're in a relationship. If you two love each other and you're honest with her, she won't break up with you on this.

ur girlfriend is most definitely unique!there isn't rily much u can do.it's all about her.no offense sweetie,but ur gal sounds lyk a nutter.try therapy.if that doesn't work,sit her down and let her know how u feel.tell her everthing and if she feels the same way u do about her she'll cool it.if not find someone who knows that they're human.best of luck!

There is a chance that she thinks you like it. That you like her being a bit 'kooky' and that you like the sex bit too.
Just try being honest with her. After all the relationship will hit real problems in the future if you aren't honest. What'll you do if she wants to call your first born 'Whiskas Pussycat Smith' or whatever?

Sounds like she's got a mental problem, sorry. I don't know whether you should suggest a psychiatrist or not as she might not like it- in fact she really won't like it. Just start by telling her how you feel and try to distract her from her obsession.

it is a well known fact that some cats can change into human form. i think your girlfriend may actually Be a cat. its not a problem, these problems should go away if you just give her some catnip.
