OMG I got huge with both my baby's. I'm not that big 5'5 and a half" (can't forget the half an inch) and usually 125-130 but I got to over 200 with my first adn 185 with my second. The first one I lost the weight in a month and ahalf ( I don't exercise) and the second it took 6 months but finally happened. I'm a little bigger than before but hey that happens. I was 10 years younger with my first. With my first by 3 months I had gained 35 pounds. This isn't typical but hey it's my fat story. .

My wife didnt really start to gain weight until 4th month or so. As she was a little overweight to begin with she actually lost weight for a while and didnt gain as much overall weight until near the end of the pregnancy when the baby gains most of its weight

Most people begin gaining by the second trimester. Many people actually lose weight at the beginning due to the changing hormones and nausea. The average total weight gain should be between 25-35 pounds.

My wife actually lost weight during the first 4-5 months, then she started gaining as the baby grew bigger. When it was all said and done, she gained about 15 lbs.

Usually you start to see weight gain in your second trimester - however, some people do gain earlier. if they drastically change their eating or exercise habits. Also, carrying multiples will cause you to gain faster, earlier. And yes, alot of women lose weight at first, depending on things like morning sickness, appetite changes, etc.

I gained weight around 3-4 weeks. I think it's water retention. In total I've gained about 7 lbs and I'm only 7 weeks.
I'm eatting just fine. I'm not eatting much more, just smaller meals and more often. I pee alot more. My clothes don't really fit...and I feel bloated. So yeah, I'm fairly sure it's water.

I had undesirable morning affliction for the 1st few months so i did no longer benefit weight. At my final appointment (sixteen weeks) i became taken aback to confirm I had gained a stone! The midwife basically laughed and suggested everyones scales are distinctive. lol
