For the people who say "if Islam is peace, then why does this and that happen in this country"?

firstly, you are only bringing up rare subjects that happen in muslim countries. if UK is a Christian country, then why do all these stabbing, murdering, rape, child abuse cases happen? if Christianity is a peacefull religion, then why do priest take full advantage on little kids? and why would a guy close to god abuse a little child?

i hate it when ignorant, cold hearted stupid non-educated people come on sites and say this happened in a islam country or that happened in a muslim country. dont watch what we do, just look at your own religion, your the one who looks more lost.

I hate when ignorant people who have not read any of the religious writings of a religion try to tell people what it is all about.


Also I have never herd someone quote the bible to justify taking advantage of little kids, raping people, murdering people, or child abuse. I have herd the people who say what they did is wrong quote the bible to prove there point.

I have herd lots of quotes from the Quran to justify the terrorist attacks and killing people for converting Muslims to Christianity. I have not herd the Muslims who say this is wrong quote the Quran to prove their point.

Hmmm I think you have some reading to do, maybe the Quran and Bible, or you can just stay ignorant.

Islam is Peace. I totally agree with you. The West is ignorant and don't have the heart to listen and accept the fact. While Islam was reaching places from Spain to China, Europe was having civil wars and kill under Christs names. Don't believe me. The first website is how the Christians used Christianity by force and start killing those who don't follow them like pagans and Jews. Sad. Second below is a website which shows the bible the Christians follow do horrific events. Islam is peace, and they are specific reasons why Muslims were to kill non-muslims in battle, etc. Just like the Muslims killed the infidels, so did the Christians and Jews did. Nothing new. The Jews killed the Midians after leaving Egypt for the land of milk and honey. The Christians of Byzantium forced Jewish as well as other Christian sects to follow their Orthodoxy. LOL Now a days, Politicians and Leaders use religion as an excuse like George Bush and Osama Bin Laden.

many people would report your entry for not being a question, but I choose to respond to your statement.
UK (and US) are countries of PRIMARILY Christian believers. The fault, or error I see in your argument is of the purpose of the actions. In the rape and murder cases you speak of, they are the actions of often mentally ill or unstable individuals. There also is no excuse for the priests you speak of to take advantage of the children, nor the effort by others to hide the offenders. None of these activities are publicly done in the name of God.
The rare violent activities by the Islamic factions that the West condemns and are so hated, are supposedly done in the name of a peaceful religion and God in Allah. It is the contradiction which confounds and angers Christians and Jews and many other Muslims that i talk to. So please don't think that is all of Islam that (nearly all) westerners are condemning. It is just the hypocritical so-called "fundamentalists" and Islamofascist groups.

There are all faiths in the UK & likewise all types of people with belief & others that follow no faith. Likewise there are laws that should be adhered to in this country & not be flouted.
With regards what happens in other countries Xtian,Muslim or whatever, I'm sure most agree there's there are only so many stories the news media companies can cover & then transmit in the 30 min long program at any one time. So it makes sense to cover UK national stories(good & bad), & highlight stories from other countries, there's only so much time in a day you know.
I think the UK should be seen as a Multi Faith country not specifically an Xtian one, that to me makes more sense.

nice to hear it from another view point... I am niether christian, muslim or jew but very open minded and often hear the points from the christian side of things that peace is not a feature of Islam, and that muslims disreagard the Koran (hypocracy) - well even christ said if some one tears your shirt - offer him the other half - You are being defensive yes, but please try to be a mit more persuasive thann filled with that same vitroil of the west. This is one huge can of worms isn't it? I am not of any particular religion, although I believe in a Spirit, whom I shall refer to as God, but I think we are all worshipping God?Allah ? There is many candles (Religions) but there is ONE LIGHT (God/Allah?)
The problem is that over the years, its all branched off, been adapted to various needs and cultures. True enough paedophile priests exist, hatred and murder exists, there is always one or two rotten apples in every barrel. Just loosen up and LOVE your neighbour I say.
