I don't think it should be required, but I do think that if the curriculum and the students are ready for it then it should be acceptable at the high school level. I think it was rater R though and most public schools are not allowed to show anything rated more than PG without full parental consent.

Its actualy a great movie to watch in schools, but at what age? i think the car wreck is too graphic for some, and the asian man's death is harsh, but as far as im concerned, it would be ok in HS.

absolutely!!! I was on the edge of my seat during that movie, yelling aloud, "pull her out, pull her out" . Its brilliant
