Prophet Muhammd forgave the Quraush the same group who had killed his followers, He used to refer to Jews and Christians as the people of the Book i.e people eho received revelations from God. Besides he used to love children especially orphans.
You should respect all religions and their messengers equally and not ask these kind of questions. Only then Earth can me made a better place. By the way if u r a christian u sshould know what Prophet Muhammad had to say about Jesus

Sara H says he didn't kill children because he wasn't Israeli, as if the Lebanese firing rockets into cities didn't kill children. She also seems to forget that Hezbollah hides amid children in schools and residential neighborhoods while they launch these rockets so that the world will call Israel cowards when they defend themselves by bombing them and then killing children. If I was Israel, I'd much rather kill their children than let them kill mine.
