My friends and I have asked this quite a few times. Who ever it was had to be ONE hungry person. Look at how freaky they look, especially when they look at you. And who would want to pick one up not knowing what it is with those pinchers? I still love to eat em though and Im glad that someone was brave enough to try it.

The history of eating crab is much like the history of eating anything: someone was hungry, it was around, they ate it. The end.

Who would first think of digging up some tuber out of the ground & eating it? But thank goodness they did, else french fries wouldn't exist.

There is nothing like sitting down to a newspaper covered table, nutcracker in hand, with a huge bowl of crab and a nice cold beer!

Well..except a big bowl of lobster.

Crab is delicious!
