I need a internet based companys website where I can browse cameras. Specifically, I am looking for a digital camera with a view finder (as without wears battery down). I only seem to be able to compare on high street shops websites.

you could try www.Dabs.com
But what happened with www. Jessops.com
I have always found them good and reliable. excellent service usually too. they also do Recons which may be suitable as I know manufacturers are doing away with viewfinders.
Have you tried using rechargeable batteries. ordinary alkaline do not last. Don't know why they still supply them.
hope this helps
