I thought they were all buying Canadian passports at the local convenience stores. Maybe that's how all of a sudden 50,000 Lebanese became Canadian citizens when war broke out. Canada has 0.5 per cent of the world's population, yet there are more Canadians in Lebanon than any other foreign nation?

Why would they? They don't need it to take refuge in other middle eastren countries. They just pay an entry fee.
