Volunteering for military service requires a sense of civic responsibility , pride in nation , a giving of self and a willing heart and mind.
Those are not LIBERAL traits .

I honestly don't know anyone I would classify as truly liberal in the Army. I'm sure there are a few but they are such a minority they are irrelevant.
