The conscious, purposive, loving ground of reality, which appetitively entertains the possibilities for richness of existence which we perceive as ideals, leads the evolution of finite beings by persuasion, and co-experiences everything which finite beings experience.

Over the years the bible and other religious books have evolved to suit the congregation people used to believe in getting married once and now it is absolutely fine to get married three times or more. Why would you follow a religion that has been changed and lost the meaning along the way.

Why was there sightings of burning bushes and angels saying your pregnant but these days there aren't? because the bible was written to make a group of men (the church leaders) very rich with offerings of food, gold, ointments ect.

If you died and went to the pearly gates and you have chosen the wrong religion to follow throughout your life your not going to get in and out of the hundreds of religions in the past and future not that many people would get it.

And if you can't believe in the bile then how can you believe in God. If you start doubting any little part about the stories in the bible then you can start picking point about the whole religion and then you find that your belief's are on a foundation of sand.

I know that God exists. I have had a very interesting life and I find it hard to believe that every event has been some sort of coincidence. There have been situations were there was simply no possible solution, and then it came. I also believe that some of the things we take for granted are extremely complicated (EX: conceiving a child), that aren't just chance or coincidence. I guess one day we will all know the answer, beyond a reasonable doubt.

You cannot have a copy without there first being an original.
This is proof that there has to be a God.

Now, to answer your question...
It's not my definition of God, but His own.
He is the "I AM"...the Self-Existant, All-Powerful and All-Knowing, Eternal One. Creator of Heavens and Earth.
That pretty much says it all right there.
But to me He is much more...for He is also a Saviour and a Healer.
Some people ask why did God allow sickness and evil to exist...but these people fail to realize, that we as human beings, have attributes and desires to want to be protectors and providers and counselors and mothers and fathers.
Where did these attributes come from?
They came from our Creator.
So how could He be a Saviour, unless someone was lost?
How could He be a Healer, unless someone was sick?
God does these to express His attributes. It's only the children of darkness that question Him.
Can the clay say to the Potter, "Why have you made me like this?".
God bless all who Love Him.

aethesists claim God dosen't exist because they fear the power he might have over them(power over everlasting soul). my questions to them would be:

1. If God dosen't exist, then do you have a soul?
2. where did matter come from?you can say all you want about evolution, but where did all the original matter come from?
3. Was Jesus just a fraud then?

That than which nothing greater can be conceived to exist (God) is greator than that than which nothing greater can be conceived not to exist (your mind thinking of God etc). So this is logic... A thing that can be conceived to exist exists, and God therefore exists. Thank you.

god for me is light .. an energy .. a force
when i picture god in my mind .. i see something like the sun .. something that is hard to look at but beautiful
i feel god is a creator and when we pass to spirit we are on a continuous journey , that takes us through levels of spirit on our development .. until one day many thousands of years from now perhaps .. we join back from the source that we came from
and from that source new spirit are born .. recycled :o)

His/her existence can be possible but is not proven.
So I continue my normal life. I am nice to everybody and treats all humans equal. So if he or she really exists, s/he cannot blame me for bad things.

If you want to believe in myths, that is your business. People obviously thrive on the commercial gains from religion. Have you ever seen a preacher who isn't well-fed?
