I could tell you so many stories that it would fill up the next 2 pages at least, and all of them would involve my sister. She is 2 years older than I and had a real knack for getting me into trouble when we were little. She seemed to have a keen sense on knowing exactly when to say "she did it", and due to the fact that she was older, our parents always seemed to believe her side of the story.
When we were little, our parents used to leave us with our grandparents who lived on a farm. One of the times we were there my sister being inquisitive decided to find out what was in one of the barns that grandpa kept closed. Being closed didn't bother my sister, it was "if their is a will - theres a way" and she found it. Before I knew it we were in. I can remember the sight of a huge red tractor with it's big metal seat. I wanted to leave, to get out of there, but no~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~my sister wasn't finished yet. She wanted to sit on the big metal seat just to see what it was like. Before I knew it she stacked up a few old crates and climbed in the seat turning the steering wheel pretending. Now can we go I thought, Oh No, she found a key just where it was supposed to be. I knew I'd really had it on this one, I could hear her words already "she did it". As I was into my thoughts, before I knew it, yup, the tractor was on and moving. Yup, moving right through the side of the barn. It finally stopped or she had finally stopped it right in front of the house front door. Luckily it was a very short distance. She hopped of the tractor and told me it was fun and to hop on. Well, listening to my older sister I did just that with her help. As I sat my hiney on the seat, out ran grandma and grandpa, just in time to see ME in the tractors seat. AND what did my sister say -----"she did it"!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a million of them, one example, back in the day, 60's, I have six other brothers and as young boys we always rough housed day in and day out...well one of the things we enjoyed doing, of course behind mom/dads backs, was play army with our BB guns...we'd put on a few pairs of pants and couple jackets and go hunt each other...shooting above the neck was off limits...but of course we always pushed the limit and just before my parents were pulling up in the drive way I spot the enemy on the roof of the house and shoot him right in the chin...well we hurry and take off our combat clothes and get in front of the T.V. as our parents enter the house...and I noticed my brother with a band-aid on his chin...which to my parents is the norm, but I knew it was in the line of duty ...anyhow.....years later my brother being a grown man, gives me a call and reminisces about that one day I shot him in the chin, and I say yeah I remember...he said I just came back from the dentist and their x-rays show I still have the BB in my chin! Wow, how the good ole days have their ways of coming back to haunt you.

One time my husband asked his niece (who was 14 at the time) how many feet are in a yard. She answered him dead serious.............it depends on how many people are in the yard.
I did not make this one up. She also asked one time (same age) what kind of bears make Honey?
She is the stereotypical blonde!!
