Well, Muhammad was sent to confirm the message of Christ. Muslims believe that jesus was a Holy man sent by God with the Holy spirit.

It's the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost works in perfect unity with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, fulfilling several roles to help you live righteously and receive the blessings of the gospel.
He “witnesses of the Father and the Son” (2 Nephi 31:18) and reveals and teaches “the truth of all things” (Moroni 10:5). You can receive a sure testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ only by the power of the Holy Ghost. His communication to your spirit carries far more certainty than any communication you can receive through your natural senses.
As you strive to stay on the path that leads to eternal life, the Holy Ghost “will show unto you all things what [you] should do” (see 2 Nephi 32:1–5). He can guide you in your decisions and protect you from physical and spiritual danger.
Through Him, you can receive gifts of the Spirit for your benefit and for the benefit of those you love and serve (see D&C 46:9–11).
He is the Comforter (John 14:26). As the soothing voice of a loving parent can quiet a crying child, the whisperings of the Spirit can calm your fears, hush the nagging worries of your life, and comfort you when you grieve. The Holy Ghost can fill you “with hope and perfect love” and “teach you the peaceable things of the kingdom” (Moroni 8:26; D&C 36:2).
Through His power, you are sanctified as you repent, receive the ordinances of baptism and confirmation, and remain true to your covenants (see Mosiah 5:1–6; 3 Nephi 27:20; Moses 6:64–68).
He is the Holy Spirit of Promise (see Ephesians 1:13; D&C 132:7, D&C 132:18–19, D&C 132:26). In this capacity, He confirms that the priesthood ordinances you have received and the covenants you have made are acceptable to God. This approval depends on your continued faithfulness.

You CAN'T be serious?
Okay, as soon as I get through laughing......
1)Joh 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Joh 14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Joh 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
(The comforter will abide with us forever...uh, Muhammed is dead. He is the Spirit of Truth...uh, again, not Muhammed. Jesus says HE is the Comforter...notice, He will not leave us comfortless, but HE will come to us)
b)Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
(The Comforter is the Holy Ghost...uh, not Muhammed again.)
c)Joh 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
(Are you beginning to notice a pattern here?)
Many Muslims have told me I ought to read the Quran before I try to discuss what it says. OK, so I'm trying to do that. This is not the place to go into what I've learned so far, but, I gaurantee you, it isn't about peace at all.
Don't you think Muslims ought to actually read the Bible, before they make ridiculous statements like this?

No. Muhammad came about 500 years later. That's too long to wait. Besides he is also dead now. The Comforter you'll still be comforting to this day. It is not logical for Muhammad to be a comforter. He doesn't comfort me.
The Holy Spirit is my Comforter.

The other comforter is the Spirit. This completes the trinity. The Father, Son (Jesus) and Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:17 "But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit"
The Holy Spirit enters into our spirit.

Wow, do YOU have it wrong!
"Another comforter" means one given in addition to those already in your possession. If you have three bedrooms and a bed in each one, and only two beds have comforters, wouldn't it be great to get still another comforter for that third bed? And wouldn't that satisfy you that the Father is abiding you forever?
Of course, one hopes the Father has good taste.

The Comforter is the Holy Spirit that comes directly from Jesus:
"There are three essentials of the church: acknowledgment of the divine of the Lord, acknowledgment of the holiness of the Word [Bible], and the life which is called charity" (Divine Providence n. 259[3]).

You insult God all day long by denying God's Holy Spirit and equating Muhammad with God and you worship Muhammad as if worshiping God in that you yourselves have Images of Muhammad by someone else does a cartoon or picture and you want to kill them for insulting a Human?
Your anger would be best served using it against those Muslims who are killing your brothers in the name of Allah instead of blaspheming God with your continual insults to Jesus and his Holy Spirit.
