Many guys don't use it because they have very shorthair. It is to keep hair from becomming brittle, weak, and makes it soft and manageable. It also strengthens hair by adding layers of protein on the strand. My boyfriend uses mine rarely, but just because it makes his hair smooth. It really depends on what you do with your hair on a regualr basis and how short it is.

Shampoo is used to clean all and any dirt & build-up from the hair only. Some shampoos clairify the hair and strip it clean. Conditioners are used to put moisture back into the hair.....there are lots of types of conditioners for all hair types...some are light and some are heavey depending on you hair need. Always condition after you shampoo to give moisture & shine. Knowone likes to put their fingers through hair that feels like straw!!!

Shampoo is a detergen that washesout oil and dirt from hair. And even tho it may be fortified withvitmains, the fact that it's a detergent may remove them from your hair still. You need conditioner when your hair lacks enough nutients, oil and vitamins naturally. The conditioner will add these things to make your hair beautiful and strong without washing anything away.

It makes ur hair soft, gives it a lil volume, it strengthens it and removes static electricity. Its like fabric softener for hair!!! Shampoo washes oil off ur hair, which makes it dry for some. If u have dry hair its good to use conditioner, bt if its oily, just use shampoo.

it helps moisturize your hair and it helps the cuticle lay smoothly (think frizzies & fly-aways). but whether you need it & what type can depend on your hair type. mine for example is very curly & the natural oils in my hair have a hard time reaching the ends - so i concentrate conditioner on the ends where my hair is dryer to keep it softer & keep it from breaking off. i have a friend who's hair is uber-straight & fine & conditioner makes her hair look like a grease ball by 10 am lol - so it all depends on what you've got & what your needs are

because shampoo is basically just to clean your scalp and hair, but with the help of conditioner it makes your hair soft, smooth, and easy to manage.it works especially for girls since we have longer hair, so whenever we use conditioner its as if our hair is so light, and beautiful, and keeps a bad hair day away;)

the shampoo cleans your hair, the conditioner then coats the hair making it slippery enough to get a comb thru it, and depending on what kind of conditioner, and what ingredients in it, help you straighten or curl or defrizz whatever

well sometimes there is shampoo and conditioner combined so you might just be using that. but conditioner is to get soft, silky looking hair... it brings it alive.
some people use it some don't.
I use it once in a while. but my shampoo has it in it.
if you have anymore ?'s plz contact me.

Okay, conditioners are meant to detangle, leave the hair smooth.

Shampoo cleans your hair that's it. Conditioner helps repair the damage the products we use do to our hair and it repairs he damage of outside elements, ie. rain, sleet, blistering blinding heat, etc. It protects your hair from the damaging items above also. It also helps make your hair more manageable.
