You may say this is not a religious or spiritual question but it is to me. I am a Catholic and I try to start and finish each day leaning on God and His love. Today I sat on the porch after work and watched the sun rise, heard the birds and cicadas sing, and listened to the wind in the wind chimes. It gave me a sense of peace as I read my devotinal. What did you do?

I got up at 4am and went for a walk in the park which is next to the Gulf of Mexico. I watched the sun come up and then came home and read a few chapters in my latest 'spiritual development' book. I try to appreciate nature and all it's inhabitants regularly throughout the day as well.

I start my day with a prayer. I have said the same thing for a while. I ask the lord to help me be the person he knows I am,and he wants me to be. I also ask him to help me say and do the things I should. And I also ask him to help me keep my mouth shut when need be, I ask him to help me be a blessing in someones life also. I also love to hear the birds in the morning and watch the sun rise also,as my house faces the east. It give me peace to know that I have started my day with my lord and to know that he will be with me always. I end my day pretty much the same,except to say Thank you for a wonderful day. And with his blessing I will have another.

My day starts by filling my soul with worship music and automatically my heart, mind and soul start giving praises to my God. Through out the day I listen to Christian music and I feed myself the word of God during lunch. At night I end by thanking God in prayer with my family.
