America was intended as a secular nation, not as an atheistic nation. There are references to god throughout our culture (though many of them were added during the cold war era). The peppering of god throughout our documents does not imply (as many fundi's will claim) that America is a "Christian Nation." In fact most of our founding fathers were Deists, not Christians. China is a bad example of what you call an avowedly atheistic society. Their lack of freedoms do not stem from the non-religious nature of the government. They are a communist nation which is the reason for their strict rule... please do not confuse communism with atheism as they are completely separate ideas.
It's very easy to point the finger at religion (or lack thereof) as the source of problems... however realistically the problems lie in the governmental system rather than the beliefs its majority holds.
The best alternative is not a dichotomous one... I feel that what was intended for OUR nation is the best possible compromise. We live in a world of grays, however too many people tend to think in black and white. Having absolute freedom to practice any religion or no religion at all is the ideal. Religion has no place in government. A secular government with the stipulation for it's people to have the freedom to choose their own beliefs is essential to it's health. It's a shame that this very ideal has come under such heavy fire in recent times.

The question is that - in countries with High quality of life, do the governments care a S H I T for religion. Well then there shouldn't be Prostitution, drugs and other socially unacceptable things happening in those countries ya ?
Well Russia is a developed country that does not believe in any god (under socialist rule, all religions were prohibited) - China / Japan is run on philosophies as Buddhism, Taoism and confuses.

The US isn't officially religious, but since so many xians think the US is god's new chosen land, I'll use it:
It'd be WAY to easy to compare to any muslim country
Japan vs USA
food medical care, transport, tech, human rights? Do I even have to spell it out?
USA 30,000 murders by gun per year
JPN a couple hundred?
USA families must pay for college for children
JPN college is free
USA many families go BANKRUPT over medical emergencies
JPN medical care = free (i think)
etc...

Lets see. Almost every portion of Africa includes highly religious people, and yet Africa has a very low standard of living. In fact, South America has very religious people, and wait for it...is hugely poor and underdeveloped. Places where there is a separation of Church and State, say... the US, has one of the highest standards of living on the globe. We did wonderfully. Very few societies are purely atheistic, but secular is close, so I thought it should count.

I do think that an atheistic goverrnment certainly has the potential, in its base concept, to be better than perhaps any other faith-based government, but in the end, it all comes down to the leader.

eastern products are very intense high quality. right here is the seize. Their very terrific are bought in Japan in basic terms and digital units are in eastern language in basic terms. Their inferior products, individuals that did no longer attain their interior of reach intake standards are disposed as export products. Even then, those rejects nonetheless get intense marks high quality-clever. it is not actual a secret. in case you save interior the tourist spots the place salesmen communicate English fairly, you're getting the rejects. while you're in Japan wanting to purchase something digital, ask for a eastern chum to accompany you to the interior of reach shops. they are plenty extra decrease priced and extra clever. you in basic terms ought to manage the eastern instruction manual, decals, labels and menus. aside from Japan, I additionally see that German made and US made products to be of intense high quality.

Well if you all think that atheistic societies do better financially I would have to say that is no surprise. Satan has to offer something to lure you away from God. Money and simple guilty pleasures are all he has.
