I am using Ubuntu dapper, and wanna use a virtual machine to run windovs XP, without having to reboot!! so plz suggest d best choice, and plz give reasons!!!

Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 is now free you can get it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtualpc/downloads/sp1.mspx
- It is very easy to set up, has preset settings, and is very easy to use. Used it to emulate various linux distros and windows 2000 on my xp box when testing some of the programs I made.

VMWare is also a good program haven't really worked to much with it but I did use it once or twice:

vmware is the best
it has the most options and is very easy to configure
