I think you are simplifying things to an extreme.
Remember Hitler? well, Mr. Hussein could have grown to those proportions. Iraq is too much of an asset FOR THE WORLD, to be left in the hands of a raving lunatic. Oil is what makes our world work, and the production of it cannot be left amock.
Most people satanize the american intervention in irak, and usually do so while driving their cars, flying on an airplane, using plastic objets or synthetic clothes. Had the U.S. not intervenes in Irak, we, the rest of the world, would be at risk of returning to the middle ages, ans Israel has nothing to do with it.
By the way, I'm not an American and I do not live in the U.S.
I'm a Mexican Citizen.

I agree with Ryan. Israel is fighting the proxy war for us. I also think that America needs to get more involved and truely take out those nations harboring terrorist groups (i.e. Syria, Lebanon, Iran and Palestine). I don't feel as bad as others towards the people in these areas because I still remember vividly the Palistinians dancing for joy in the streets after the World Trade Center terror.

Any military force that fails to hit the enemy's supply base and/or route of supply, is asking for great trouble.
Also any military force that fails to support the friendly elements that are bearing the brunt of the fight, is asking that its allies disengage and breakaway on their own.
There is no doubt that Syria and Iran are keeping the Hezbollah supplied with both replacements and munitions. These are Israel's enemy's supply bases. How long should Israel keep from blasting them?
Also, Make no mistake,..Israel is the best friend we have on that side of the waters, better than all the rest combined.

The hate for Al Queda over shadows logic. Soldiers on the ground do what they are told, civilians are subject to far too much propaganda, Oil is a cruicial factor and keeping the Israelis from nuking oil supplies is one of our major concerns, Politicians think whats a few thousand lives too keep the oli flowing and their big rich campaign contrabutions coming in. Its a delicant balance, SEE

America is not fighting any proxy war. Its directly involved in Middle-East (or World over) crisis.
Its big brother attitude and tormented by terrorists, make it to this kind of actions.

I believe the American people know exactly the US position relative to Israel. Even those Americans who are not really in favor of this position, are slowly re-evaluating their stance, after seeing the total lack of humanity coming from Hezbollah.
These people (Hezbollah) can't win for losing!

I thought it was about WMD's....
or was it Iraqi freedom?....
or maybe it was Iraqi democracy....
Haven't heard the save Israel excuse yet.
I was not in favor of Invasion of Iraq from the time they started preparing for it.
And...recent poll...if you consider them any barometer of American opinion ...indicates that 60% are opposed to war in Iraq...
Wasn't that high a couple fo years ago.
I was never in favor of Iraq War....
But I still think muslims are assholes.
But don't get too offended.
I think Christian fundamentalists are assholes also.

How dumb can one person be?
Israel is prepping the way for us to do Syria. Iran is next.
Those two countries need to get a lot more pro-USA, real quick. They should take a note from Moamar Kadaffy.
