Much like the owner's manual for an automobile, the bible is a good example of how people should live to receive the most out of life. The lottery is purely a game of chance, and in some cases, people have dreamed of numbers or have been influenced to play certain numbers that came out, but the source of that information remains unfounded. In the days of Jesus, there were lotteries, but he was against that practice; so one would surmise that gambling is not the key to acquiring riches.
If you did a little more research, you might discover that there is already a cure for cancer, but think of how much money the medical industry would lose if they made that available at this point. In this case, it not a matter of saving lives, it's all about money.
If,by some remote possibility, the bible is right about the return of Jesus, are you ready?
As for me, I don't sweat it. I don't believe in heaven or hell. I know there is good and evil, and one can't exist without the other. Most people who meet me tend to think I'm a nice guy. As a child I was taught to "do unto others as I would have them do unto me", and guess what; that works out fine.
As for the bible, I too have my doubts about certain things but many of the prophecies are true in a "relative" sense. Much like the zodiac.
From the looks of things, many of us are going to burn right here on earth; could this be hell?

Well you have to spend more time reading it to understand the prophecies, even the twin towers collasped is propheceid in the book of Isaiah, and in Revelations there is the prophecy of the bar code chip that will be used for trading embedded in human beingsm which by the way has already started in some countries, even in dogs, and there is the prophecy about the anti christ. So ermm its not just about the coming back of Jesus.
If its indeed a book written by GOD, don't you think GOD will protect this book instead of letting it being edited until it gets out of context. Obviously not.
Anyway i recommend you to read the book ' The case for faith' the author to this book seems to have all the same doubts and questions that you have. This book will answer ALL your questions.
Bon Courage

It does not predict the numbers because if assholes like yourself win the lottery and get money then the world will be in trouble. I realize that you are also a racist and you are truly an idiot, You will do well to realize that u are fake. When the Judgement day arrives u will fall down screaming. U can curse me now and laugh at me, but when the day comes, you will have no tounge or mouth because you unfaitfulness will drive you into the Lake of Fire.
Say hello to Iraq when u enter that lake

The bible is broken into TWO testaments.
The Old Testament is more history, leading up to the time of Jesus Christ.
The New Testament is based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, and how one should live, to prepare themselves for the kingdom of heaven.
Since Jesus once said that it would be easier for a camel to pass throught the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter heaven, why would he ever wish to help you become rich?

Because the Bible is a 2000+ year old book written by people who knew nothing about what lotteries would be around 2000 years later.

I guess that was something that the writers forgot to consider when they created the book of myths.
Speaking of myths, the latest one has surfaced (see the link) about a woman who claims she has descended from Mary Magdalene and Jesus. Sounds like another movie in the making !!
