The details of this myth are not overly clear, but does it say in the bible that Cain and Able had sisters? How else did reproduction take place after Adam & Eve? And if Adam & Eve did not have daughters, then ... ummm ... was Eve naughty again ??
Oh, that Eve. Things just haven't been right with the world ever since she got hungry for that apple !!

The answer given by Williamzo is best and on target.
Adam and Eve bore all their children together and the first parents were true to each other, having taken the sacred wedding covenants from God Himself.
Sibling married sibling and produced their children; there was no other way. Echoing Williamzo's comment, you people need to leave today's way of thinking and use reason and logic why life was so in Adam's time.
There were no other families made available to create children other than what Adam and Eve created and through their posterity.

Adam and Eve followed God's laws and commands until they died nearly a thousand years after Genesis started. They did not record how many children they had but they were told to rebuild the population and fill the earth.
Incest wasn't a key point until disease took hold, and God put a stop to it.
It is highly unlikely that Adam used his children for immoral purposes. He was badly hurt in conscience when he realized he had hurt God's feelings. He and God had been close friends and Adam never got over the loss of a friend. He never sinned again.

According to Islam, Adam and Eve had twins every time they had children--one male and female pair. The first set of twins would marry the second set. Meaning, only one set would be considered brother and sister. The female from the first twin set would marry the male from the second set. The story of Cain and Abel fits because Cains twin was beautiful, but she was forbidden to Cain cause she was his twin--she was supposed to marry Abel, whos twin was not pretty. Cain did not want to marry Abels twin...so they got into an arguement...
This was not considered incent because there was no other way to propogate humanity. As more and more humans were born, marrying your direct sibling was probably forbidden at some point.

Adam and Eve continued to have children of their own. The children married each other and had children. At this time, this wasn't sin, and the human genetics would not have been corrupted to cause medical problems.

They were all one big inbreeding redneck family. All of the siblings musst have been getting it on. Heck, Adam and Eve were probably even getting it on with their kids. And this the version of creation that fundamentalists believe in? They deny evolution for a bunch of inbreeding piece of s$#t rednecks?? Ha.

That's a great question because I've wondered that for years! Christrians are weird anyway, but they can never explain this one. Did their God create two sets of people or more? Because if not then technically we're all descendants of Mom/Dad/Brother/Brother love (Cain and Able) right?

I had that same exact question, but if the children did have sex with each other then we would all be the product of insest. We would have like two heads and be mentally challenged.

You need to stop thinking 20th century America.
Ancient civilizations did this to propagate their tribes. They did this as a survival mode. As civilization grew these practices were abandoned.
