TREE is an object and u have probaly got them outside your house and in your garden, it has got a trunk and branches on top and leaves at the end of the branches
and THREE is a number which comes before the number FOUR and after the number TWO ,,,you shud kno this
i appologise if u have got any learning diificulties or if u do not kno english proply
som people just got diiferent accents & pronounce the number three as the object tree
(lyk irish people [no offense to irish people] & probly many other dialects/accents too)

Of course, the main difference is the meaning...
But I think you're referring to pronunciation,
tree -> tree
three -> zree
One good question is why English have so much words similar...

ok, here goes: "tree" is a noun, and "three" is a number.
In Ireland people cand pronounce the group "th" very well, so they say "tree" instead of "three".
Man, I think your 9 year-old sister knows that!
