In my previous question, I said I accidently threw a heavy toy at my girlfriends cat when I was at her house taking care of it for the weekend. The cat was still breathing, then but it wouldn't wake up. I always see in movies that cat's don't like water. So I fill up the tub, and threw the cat in the tub. It opened it's eyes, so I suspected it was awake, but it wasn't moving. It's head sank and then I pulled the cat out. It was making a gurgle noise and now it stopped and isn't breathe. I had to get the cat dry, so I blow dried the cat, and put it back on it's bed. I hope my girlfriend doesn't notice until I go home. What should I do?

I will speak as a member of the USHS, ASPCA, World Wildlife Federation and volunteer at our local Humane Society, you should feel the pain you made that cat suffer and the loss your friend has to endure....Losing a pet is as tragic to some as losing a child or FRIEND.What were you thinking? So be prepared for the worst! What goes around, comes around!

Let us know what happened in the end. I pray it isnt dead. You should take it to the vet. Maybe it's just unconscious. However you cannot replace a pet. Each pet is one of a kind. You can easily get another but by all means that will not replace the last. I'll pray for the cat as well as your girlfriend. She will be hysterical. Have you prepared for the hurt and emotions she will have? You're putting alot on the line.

You should be totally ashamed of yourself, as this is not funny at all! Most serial killers start their careers by torturing helpless animals and move on to helpless human victims. You are not funny at all. You're not clever like you think you are. I hope no one will have any kind of sex with you for the next 20 years. Why didnt you take it to the vet in the first place?!?!? This is why women hate men! Why do you have to hide things!!!! If you cannot tell her what a jackass you are and that you cannot take care of living things- YOU should not be with her. I wish I was there to throw a large heavy object at your head right now.

if all this is really true, shame on you ! why would you
do this to your girlfriends cat don't you care about
your girlfriend feelings or for that matter hurting the
poor Innocent cat !!

take it to the vet leave an go find a replacemnt but be4 u do that take pics side views front and all details then go out and look all over ur city ur sure to find a similar cat that needs a home ur problem solved

You could get her a beautiful Persian cat to make up for her poor kitten! Just apologize for killing the kitty, make sure you tell her it was you or you'll have stomach cramps of guilt!!!!!

why did u do like that??? i appreciate that u have done something for that cat to give full breath....but it did not worked..tell her this and explain....i know intially she will not accept but after some time she will accept the fact..and gift her another cat..
