Yep. but where is the question? Do you really think the close minded bigoted folks you are talking about are going to answer you? Ain't gonna happen.

No, not true for me.
I do know ,though, that a strong disagreement between two opposing sides can bring about thoughts and words of hate.
What I do is this:
I am a strong supporter for pro-life. I do not get into disagreements or arguments with a pro-choice supporter. I have spoken with girls( and guys) that had questions for me about my beliefs, or convictions, but I do not wish to engage in this if an argument ensues. Believe me, I am an Irish girl so fighting is in my nature, but with this subject, I will let someone be with their thoughts, as long as I am allowed my thoughts without having theirs shoved down my throat.
I know what i feel is right in my heart, so there is no need to argue. I do, however say a prayer for every aborted baby that I hear about. I am not a religous freak, either. I just feel compelled.

Because people with small minds think small. People usually hate what they don't understand. I agree, people do need to grow up,but what can you do? A lot of their disagreements usually open up dialogue. Use this time to impart a little wisdom and you will be surprised at how receptive a small mind can be when people take the time to explain why they feel a certain way about certain subjects. People should understand that just because you don't agree,it doesn't mean that you yourself are not open to new suggestions. Try it.

Some growing up can be done by all of us. Especially the judgemental ones. I disagree with alot of issues, however not the ones that you mentioned, but I do not hate other people for thier choice to support any issues.

This is because many people are unable to emotionally separate themselves from their position, or have their personal identity so tied up in "being" gay, etc. that any opposing viewpoint is therefore hateful. These people are lazy, petty & shortsighted, and are only interested in name-calling, because actually defending their point of view would take some thought and effort.

I agree 100%. If they dont want to know what we think they need not ask the questions. I do not hate homosexuals, I hate the sin they do. But how can I look at their sin when I have my own sin to deal with. My sin is like their sin, IT's Sin.

Yes completely!
passive aggressive behaviors from the left, reacting to aggressive behaviors from the right. It's what makes the world go round.

For a start, growing up means spelling 'PEOPLE' correctly. It's spelt as P-E-O-P-L-E, not P-E-O-L-E. Even if you disagree with me, please don't hate me?
