The best way to loose weight is to eat less calories than you burn off and to exercise. There are a lot of faddy diets and most of them will work because they use this principle. The thing you need to do is to boost your metabolism, the speed at which food is turned to energy, the best way to do this is with regular exercise the pace you should choose is one that makes you feel like your working but not one that puff you out you should be able to keep this level of exercise going for about an hour with no problems (might take a couple of weeks to get there though) and yes eating breakfast too, breakfast means that you body doesn't think it is being starved and wont convert all it can to energy and what it cant to fat, also if your on a calorie controlled diet your going to need it. Basically on a calorie controlled diet you should eat Little but often

You mean Weight, The best way is to intake calories (not less) but not empty good worth while calories with lots of nutrients, like carrots and fruits, Plenty of meat and protein burns your fat into muscle and makes you stronger and thinner, so try Power bars. Good luck! Remember that there is so many diets because everyone has their own so if you are not benefiting from low carb then it is not for you find something that will work, this is one of the best ways! Also get exercise and move it!

Fall in love..., with all the butterflies in your stomach you won't be hungry anymore.
True story, I've gone from 155 to 136 in about 3 months without any effort whatsoever. (I think I need to start eating again honestly)

Another alternative is to quit your job and donate all your money to charities. It's hard to eat when you don't have money.

Of course if the above solutions are unrealistic, or don't work, I know some people doing the weight watchers program that are doing well.

Throwing some exercise in the mix is important too of course.

Good Luck.

eat less, exercise more is the simple answer

if energy expended is more then energy taken in then weight loss should occur

consider carefully what you eat, try to steer clear of high fat, high sugar stuffs. fill up your stomach with bulky high fibre vegatables which should hopefully reduce the hunger pains.

loosing a small amount of weight over an extended period is more likely to be successfull than a large amount in a short time. above all learn to change you behaviour, and that does take time - some say it takes around 3..4 months of sustained effort to modify your behaviour

some diets can and do promise quick weight loss (low carb diets such as Atkins) but in order to keep the weight off you need to concentrate over time.

Make sure to drink lots of water especially when you wake up on an empty stomach try drinking two glasses before breakfast and then drink a glass of water approximately an hour before every meal. Trust me this work I lost weight doing that! Eat a serving of fruit once-twice a day and keep exercising! Try eating five small meals insted of two or three heavy ones! But drink lots of water it makes you feel full and keeps you hydrated! It helps with weight loss

Two very good tips for losing weight, that are easy to remember and easy to apply are : Firstly, cut out eating white bread and secondly, avoid and fats in food that are solid at room temperature, IE fats on meats, lards, some butters, and fat that solidifies once it has cooled.

Also, we are 'foragers' by nature, eat little and often.

No silly diets, believe me they dont work!!
Just eat healthily and get plenty of exercise, and do allow yourself a treat maybe once a month,i either have a night out with a few drinks or have a takeaway(the healthiest on the menu!).
