Yeah bud. Don't worry. Its not always easy to get mail or net access out there. I had the same stress over a friend a few times but always turns out ok. Chill.

yes - although very worrying.
bare in mind that they only get 20 mins of phone calls per week and there are always HUGE queues for the phone.
also if anything has happened (ie death of another solider/wounding) then they are not allowed to use the phone for 24-48hrs.

If something had happended someone would have been in touch with you.

good luck x x x

Yes it is... Usually they will not tell their families since it may worry them even more that they are on an active mission. And usually if a military service man/woman is hurt or killed, the family will be notified. It may take a week or 2 but should not take weeks upon weeks.

it could happen...easily.
when my husband is over there he is in a somewhat safe environment on an air base, however, they do get shot at and at one time their water reserves were destroyed. so, if his communications were knocked out, then it could very well be 4 weeks before i could talk to him.

don't worry yourself to death, just ask around to other wives or family members, even to the base where he is usually stationed, and ask if there have been any communication breakdowns.

now, if he is in the "thick" of it, then he may be on missions and cannot contact you at the moment.

right now...i wouldn't worry unless someone tells you information to make you worry. there isn't anything you can do from over here except go about your daily life. i know it sounds hard, but take it from a Marine wife....all you can do is hope for their safety and go about your regular life. also, sending care packages helps too:)

take care and i hope everything is fine.

No news is good news! You have to remember, and not take it personally, but you and or things back home are not in the forefront of the soldiers thoughts most of the time, and that is a good thing.

My husband, who is US military, has not been in touch with me for weeks. This is very common when they are supporting a active operation. And he leaves he tells me, "I won't be in contact with you and I can't tell you where I'll be or what I'll be doing".
They have probably been instructed to not communicate for now.
