There are lots of different types of brain tumors, some cancerous and some not. Symptoms can vary depending on where the tumor is, exactly; for example, a tumor near the optic chiasm could affect vision. Some tumors have no symptoms, or symptoms that one would not normally associate with tumors. The only way to know for sure is to get an MRI, even a CAT scan can miss them.

That largely depends on where the lesion is located and its size. In addition to headaches, particularly on waking, along with nausea, and some temporary relief of headache with vomiting; seizures might be a big clue, alterations in perceptions (auditory, visual or olfactory hallucinations), problems in thinking, often perceptible to the patient (unlike alzheimer's). Balance problems, incontinence problems also might be hints.

it depends on the location of the tumor like if it is in the frontal lobe the first symptom asided from headache is visual and sense of smell alterations aside from behaviour or personality changes. every part of the brain has specific function such that neurologic deficit due to a tumor will depend on which part is affected.

blurred vision, confustion, dizziness, nausea and just a few. Sometimes you can have a tumor growing and have no symptoms at all. Only an MRI can tell you for sure if something is present.
