I'm trying to max my army education points, but doing the least amount of work. I was wondering if anyone had a list of high point courses. I don't need answers, just a direction to go in for the max points.

In the National Guard, take FEMA Courses. I work at the State HQ and I do enlisted promotions. I enter into SIDPERS all promotion points. Each FEMA Course is worth 5 Promotion Points, the equivalent of 25 hours of Correspondence Courses. They are all done online and are very easy to complete.

Yeah... you can Lie cheat and steal to get the answers to just about all the of the ACCP courses... but if you were one of my soldiers, I'd recomend UCMJ action for that and then I'd drop an e-mail to the ACCP and ensure you didn't get credit for any of the courses you had "completed" People that cheat on ACCP courses display a lack of complience with the Army Values of Honor and Integrity.

Now, I would encourage you to print the test questions to the ACCP courses you are taking and download all the reference materials... All of the references are in Adobe PDF.(a few might still be in MS Word) Use the search feature in Adobe to find key words from the questions in the references. (Control - F) You will find the answers to about 90% of the questions this way and it will come out almost word for word from the text. Now some might say that this is a less than honest way to complete a course. I don't think so. The intent of ACCP is to improve your professional knowledge and make you a better soldier. Even if you Control - F your way through all your ACCP courses, you will still have to read and research quite a bit to complete the course. The more you read on a subject the more you will learn and remember.

Another thing, I'm sure someone has a list of classes that are all 40hrs and 50hrs a peice. When I was younger, I signed up for a few of those too, but to be honest, most of them were uncompleted or ignored... Most of them had nothing to do with my particular MOS. Some were very difficult to complete becouse of this (what does a Cav Scout know about Helicoptor engine repair -absolutely nothing and it should stay that way) My point is- - check out the ones related to your MOS first they're going to be pretty easy for you to complete and you will probably gain some insight on the doctrine associated with your MOS versus the TTPs your unit uses. Most of the MOS specific courses have simular MOS courses that will expand on each other IE. I took 11B basic refresher course, then the 11H refresher course (a lot of overlapping subcourses so I didn't have to take them over) then the 11M course etc. Then the MP basic refresher courses (the difference between an MP and a Cav Scout now adays - MPs have metal hand cuffs and Scouts have TOW missiles otherwise a lot of our individual and collective tasks are simular) Just sit down and think about the other MOS's that have simular responsibilities to your own job. Review the subcourses before signing up for a class watch out for those that you know you don't have a clue about (using the same reasoning, I signed up for the Combat Engineer Class - Scouts do quite a bit of demo and Engineers do a bit of reconnisance too - but I failed the "Non-Standard Military Bridges" class twice. There's a lot more to it than you would think.) But its OK don't sweat it if you fail a course, I don't think it ticks off the Army as much any more since it's all digital and they don't have to pay postage anymore for most of the courses.

The next thing to do is set aside time to complete ACCP courses. I used to set aside an hour after I got home (release for the day) and Control F my way through a course.... you can easily complete 30 or 40 hours of ACCP courses each week.
