Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2Ti 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

Rev 22:12 ¶ And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

We are closer to Jesus' return today than we were 2000 years ago, and Jesus has given us clues as to when He would return, such as three trumpet blasts in Jerusalem (there have been two) and there would be an explosion of knowledge (we are now living in the "Information Age"), and so forth. Whether than translates into Jesus returning in the next 20 - 50 - 80 years or not, I don't know. It really seems likely, but I just don't know, and neither does anyone else.

However, we've been in the last days for 2,000 years. Paul taught and believed that Jesus would be coming back in HIS lifetime.

Also remember that Jesus Himself said that only the Father new the hour of His return.

Jesus also said to be ready. Are you ready?

I don't know if He'll get back during my lifetime (I'm 55), but I I'm thinking it's possible.
Not because of all the wars and rumors of wars, although the fact that Israel is at war is....interesting.
Not so much because of all the natural disasters...although there have been rather more than usual.
Not so much because of the poverty and disease...although these also seem to be on the increase.
Not even because of Bush&co, although I have wondered whether or not he actually could be the long awaited "anti-christ".
But because of what I see going on in the church (Matt 24:24, happening NOW!), and because of all of the people I see mocking Christ, and angry with Christianity (the beast making war with the saints...and winning!).

No, this is another myth. Mind you, if jesus wanted to do something really important, he could feed the starving people of the world. If he can turn water into wine (was that an important thing to do?) then surely he can feed millions of starving and dying people.

Or maybe he can stop the war in Lebanon. And Iraq.

That is, if he has the time and interest to do such things. But I guess he is too busy to do these things, so I don't think he will come back any time soon to visit a planet that is burning up.

Everything happening in the Middle East at this moment is prophetic. Be watching for a man to appear who will make peace and become the head of the world united nations almost in the same breath. Watching the "signs" has been fascinating..but also a bit scary. People had better make their heart;s right with God now because the true beginning of what we call the end times is so very close. Watch and be at Peace.

If by that you mean 'Are we having the best time ever!' then yes, I think we probably are.

I'm an Atheist though, so I don't give a fuc'k :)

Jesus now, or who ever he was based on in that silly book was a nice guy and said a lot of smart stuff, but he was just a man. So No, because there is nothing 'after' for him to come back from.

well..this is what most believers think!!
Jesus indeed will come back and it's written in the Bible. and the bible also gives us signs to know if the end of days is soon. However,
and despite the fact that some of the signs "are here", we will never now whether it's months, years or countable days!!...we can only watch the world and we can see more and more evil..so It's kind of proportional!!!!

We -believers of Jesus Christ- should only keep on believing in him and worship him till the rest of OUR lives and we all can have peace in our hearts..we shall not fear the end of days!!!

I know in Matthew when it mentions wars and rumors of wars it says but the end is not yet. Then it goes on to talk about the earthquakes and stuff then says these are the beginning of sorrows. So I be honest I have no clue if I will see Christ in my lifetime.

I think its really typical to believe it is the end of days from Paul to the preachers during the puritanical time in our own nation's history people believed that Christ was coming so you better get in line. If that is true than, it is true but ya know what I cant focus on it, I've only got this life

No. I really, really don't know why everyone's up in arms like this. Are we so self-important that we think that we should be around if (or when) the "End of Days" finally does happen? Are there signs that do point to only one schedule for it, without being subject to "interpretation"? Have people been doing this for thousands of years, but the idea only became mainstream with the internet?

So, no, we're not. You're paranoid and vain. Stop looking so far into things.

We are in the Last Day's with the Beginning of Sorrow's starting up.
The Dude above has the right atitude, be ready.
The FATHER control's the TIME, it is like a Football Game.
There is Official Time.
There is Time Out.
HE control's it all. This thing could go on another hundred year's, or it could be over tomarrow (Rapture).
Anyway, it is not the Total Destruction of the EARTH and it's People's, there will be 1000 Year's of PEACE befor the WAR of ARMAGEDDON.
It's in the Book of the REVELATION.
Ditto.
