If God exists, then he's a bit useless. Let me explain. If he sees all the bad things going on (as we are led to believe) and doesn't help, that means he is uncaring. If he sees and can't help, he's not all powerfull. If he can't see, then he's not omnipotent. Arguments please.

Hey, no surprise here. In the Old Testament God appears to be rather cruel.
In fact, I think God may be a cranky old man.
Wait, he's probably not a man, but a woman.
A menopaused woman (cause menopaused women are always cranky aren't they).
But as God is wise as well, it's probably a lesbian.
So God is a lesbian menopaused woman.
But she also likes to be in charge, that would make her a black woman.
So, God is a black lesbian menopaused woman.

Are you still not afraid of her?

Not particularly religious but my take on God is that prior to creating the physical universe, God was bored. No one to talk to, no one to interact with. So God then individuated a portion of itself in such a way as to have a different viewpoint to interact with, sort of like giving a piece of itself a separate personality. This was working, so God created from itself MANY differing viewpoints and then provided a cool physical universe and bodies for these differing "personalities" to inhabit. That's where the Big Bang came in. Now God sits back without judgement and watches us, kind of like watching a giant ant farm. Therefore, there is no good or bad, no heaven or hell, just a continuing cycle of experiences which serve to entertain God. Possibly, in the end when God has experienced every concievable action and situation, we will all be brought together as one completely aware being again, but with the total experience of everything. After that, God only knows! Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol!

Yes indeed! Who is God? Is God It,He or She? Is God the energizing electrical power flowing thro' the many instruments of our daily use?Or is He the consciousness of all living creatures including humans? Surely electrical power or electromagnetic radiation is being used in a variety of ways by instruments of definitive and purposeful applications by a common use of human consciousness but applied in various ways through personal choice--as a scientist, engineer, technologist or physicist etc.Kindling human consciousness has nothing to do with personal identification and application as well as electrical power energizing a merry go round to amuse free people or an electical chair to execute a condemned person. God the creator and also the basic stratum of all that is implicitly taken for granted before coming into existence is both the source and the result of all Creation and nothing to do with mind generated personal views. God is whatever we consider as use-ful or less, virtue or wicked, caring or careless or simply what we conceive with our living conscious minds while in a dead person the living consciouness is withdrawn relieving temporarily from all this careworn existence pending realisation of the ultimate reality of universal existence.

You are looking at this incorrectly, the state of the world today is our mess to clean up not some divine force/entity. You are not some little kid who you mom will pick up after. We made this mess and if we don't clean it up we will be made to suffer. People need to stop looking for scapegoats for why this world isn't perfect and start taking responsibility for the mess and fix it.

What would we learn if God/Goddess/Divine entity/Aliens or even the flying spaghetti monster came and fixed everything? Nothing!

Sure. Jesus made the note, when Satan made the challenge, throw yourself off the temple, and his angels will protect you, not a stone will touch your feet.
Jesus's reply, was, it is also written, that thou shouldn't tempt the Lord.
A lot has been made, of bad things happening...tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, politicians, and even religions, killing each other, it's a time of faith...but as well, the Lord made mention, saying, that his faithful will be tested, by the nations, in his name....some will suffer, but the eternal reward would be great.
Simply put....you're not going to get a gold rug to walk on, and a million dollars....be he also did say, that a rich person can't buy his way into heaven, and that a poor man and a rich man are equal at death....his money can't go with him.
To me, a lot has to do with faith, what a person is praying for, and as well, the person who is being prayed about.
Case in point, if you pray for a million dollars, doubt it will happen.
Also, from my church background, a true story....I was sledding with my brother, and a few friends, while my parents were at the church, for a marriage encounter confrence in town.
While i was sledding, an accident occurred, where I hit a pole, headfirst, and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Over at the church, close to 7 miles away, the message was relayed....when they opened the door to the meeting, my dad knew it was something to do with me....and they were off to see me.
Last point....and this I think will cover a lot of issues....one of my friends at the church, a lady named Sarah Cash, was what you'd call a prayer warrior...if a prayer request came in, she, her sister, and another lady, lilian johnson, would pray on it...and usually, daily, until a praise came back.
Two of those three are now in heaven.....and to be honest...I'm betting they weren't that much of strangers, as much time as they spent on their knees.
But bad things do still happen in this world....but then, how many of those things, we do to ourselves? If we hit our thumb with a hammer, is it God's fault? No....If you get rear ended by a drunk, who's fault, God, for creating the items for making the wine? No....the drunk.
A lot of times, I do believe that God built the planet as a low maintence....but when called to intercede, by faith....miracles do happen.

Forget religion.

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

I see we another one here who thinks free will should be repealed like prohibition.

Try living like a puppet on a string. A slave without sayso in any aspect of your life. A THING instead of a person.

The reason there's evil in the world is that some people choose to do it. They use their free will to make those choices.

Of course, what you REALLY want is for everybody BUT you to lose their free will.

Think before you rant, dear!

OK, let's see. Maybe he tries to help through ppl such as Mother Theresa, missionaries, etc. Maybe he's even trying to help through ppl that aren't hearing him yet. If he were uncaring, then ALL the bombs and bullets would hit ALL the ppl they were aimed at. If he were not all powerful, we would not be here at all. If he were not omnipotent, he would not have known to send Jesus for us.

If we can't solve a bit of the problems going on in here because of us why blame God for that.
