i have been in touch with this guy i new `ages ago
we get on i went over to see him and it was amazing
i fell in love with brooklyn and decided im gonna go over a see if i can get work
should i tell him? or not

steady on! You don't say how far Brooklyn is from where you live now but if this means moving a long way from your friends and family as well as having to find a new job, you could scare the guy off and end up with no social life at all.
Can't you let the relationship develop for a while before you think about moving?
If you've really made your mind up, well sometimes it's good to make a change, but do be sure that you're in control of getting a job/accommodation and social life and that you don't get too dependent on this guy. Do you like Brooklyn enough to move there anyway, or is it only because he's there? Is there a danger that he'll feel stalked if you move there? If so, make it clear to him that you're not moving because of him but that it would be nice to see him occasionally.

I think I would tell him first as you might be disappointed if he isn't looking for a relationship. I guess it really depends on if you are wanting to go there for a possible future with him or if you just want to live there. Be honest with yourself now cause you will kick yourself later if you move away for the wrong reason. Goodluck :)

yea u shud definatly tell him incase he mite feel awkward or wen u get ova ther find out this bloke is seein sum1 else or if it all goes **** up & u just sho up on his doorstep he's not gonna b very happy is he!
