When I click run on my computer and type redegit it opens but only for a few seconds then closes so that I am unable to do anything like look at software for manual uninstall does anyone know why or what I need to do to rectify this problem

i m assuming ur using the windows XP Operating system.If thats the case the goto run> type "cmd" (without quotes ) then in the windows that comes up
type C:\ sfc
and then do as it says .it will check for the corrupted system files and ask u to replace them.. so when asked provide it the Windows XP cd ..
Else try reinstalling windows.. over the same copy .. shd repleace the corrupted files wid new ones.. and yeah after doing that reinstall and update ur antivirus and check for virsuses..

mate u got a virus you need 2 scan your comp if dat dont work then format your hard drive

i think u should back up u data/files in safe mode, and then just format it as it might be a virus infected.
