if you've been caught using other's ezlink. & they took the card. when will you be able to get it back?

Is it a giro ezlink? If it is a GIRO ezlink, the owner can terminate the card immediately and the balance money in the card is refunded to the owner and the card cannot be use any more.
If it is a normal ezlink card, once u loss it, it is permanently loss just like losing your money.
