Get the Windows XP Home upgrade, it's really easy. There might be some problems with your software or hardware but it'll tell you before it begins.
There's a program from Microsoft which'll tell you of any problems your system might have upgrading (before you go out and spend money) called Upgrade Advisor at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/howtobuy/upgrading/advisor.asp
If you make sure you buy the Windows XP Upgrade (not the full version) you won't lose any of your current programs / files.

Not that fast though, its not like just buy the cd and put it in and let install. You need to see if your pc can run on xp smoothly. It will do if you have pentium 3 and above pc preferrably pentium 4 or AMD Athlon etc. It should have at least over 1gig processor and microsoft says 128 but to be honest its better if you have 256mb RAM. (how you get this info. is by right clicking on my computer icon on your desk top and clicking on property).
If you have less than the minimum above requirement you will face a lots of headache with your pc not being efficient and running slow etc.
now once you are satisfied that you have this, then you need to have a window xp cd with the product key.
you put the CD in and reboot your pc. pc's are normally set to look for a bootable CD first so you dont have to do anything except following the instruction on the screen as xp will load on to your pc and once finished you need to set clock, and region etc. and off you go. good luck.

You do need a WinXp home edition CD. Either buy it or download it from any torrent app.
Option 1 - Run the setup from within Win98 to upgrade to WinXp, and if you have any data files to keep.
Option 2 - Reboot from the CD and install WinXP on a second partition or drive that you might be having. Create a new partition if needed.
Option 3 - Reboot from CD and clean install WinXP over the Win98 partition. This will format the existing partition and all data within. Do remember to take a backup of any important file's

Purchase the XP Home CD. Run a compatability program which checks for any potential problems XP may run in to (in terms of software issues). Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements. You will need at least, AT LEAST 128 MB of RAM. It's advised to have at least 256 MB to actually utilise the true capability of XP. After doing this, just run the CD - piece of cake.

properly, the Aussies as is their wont will play troublesome, it is not open to communicate! some gamers play ought to nonetheless call the playing cards or the photos like Clarke, Chris Rogers (ask your self), Faulkner, Haddin, Pattinson, Siddle, Lyon & Doherty. at cases England ought to be very susceptible to the colourful Aussie area yet this is it, I difficulty plenty appropriate to the Aussie batting, a potential for an prolonged time now. The bowling became continually promising, a great crop of rapid bowlers being obtainable like Jackson chicken, Hastings, Kane Richardson all with some good p.c.. & flow. besides the undeniable fact that, the promising batters have not come via, Khwaja no longer in want, Cowan promising yet no longer completely good, Warner in basic terms ordinary for pulling the rabbit out of the hat & Maxwell untested at this point. Yea, England surely are the outright favorites, its in basic terms an issue of time whether the Aussies capitulate interior the 1st try or no longer! which will deliver shivers down their necks & in the event that they are down 3-0, then the Ashes urn comes back to previous blighty
