We ladies don't always do that either. Wouldn't it be great if all people communicated more effectively?

That is a good question. When I was dating I observed the guy and got to know him. I never hopped into bed until i could get the man to open to me.
That way i avoided the bullcrap lines like:I love you ,will you sleep with me,
if you will not sleep with me ,i will go find someone who will etc.....
Ask around and see if you can find this guys ex girlfriend,call her and ask her why they broke up,that might answer your question.(research about the guys past helped to understand him better or wether to tell him to get lost)
Their guys out there who mean what they say and you will learn how to tell which ones they are. good-luck

This is a woman's point of view: I have learnt that when talking with guys that we have to be succinct in every word we say. Otherwise there will be misunderstanding. Guys can't read our minds. We need to communicate lots.
