depends what you're being tested for, we have random drug testing at work and as long as we list the doctor prescriptions we are on everything is O.K. some people are on heavy doses of serious mental health drugs and it's not a problem.

don't pay attention to these answers. Just because you ask this question doesn't mean you have a problem and need help, what a bunch of self-righteous, judgmental, no doubt hypocrites. You need to look at the website for xanax (alprazolam) and see what the rate of absorption for someone your size, weight, and other medications you are on. This will tell you the answer of whether or not it will be metabolized in that amount of time. Oh and you can be put in jail for having xanax without a prescription if you are caught by the police, that chick doesn't know what she is talking about. Geeze I have to keep updating this after reading peoples answers, it is an illegal substance if you don't have a script for it and it will show up on a test if they are looking for benzodiazepines, which they normally do.

yes you would pass because it would take longer for it to be metabolized enough to be pos on a urine screen drink plenty of water just to make sure it dulites the urine and decreases the chance plus that is not an illegal substanace most likely nl drug screen not checking for that type of medication

Probably not, barbiturates can take a while to get out of your system. Obviously, factors like weight, body mass index, food and water consumption, and your metabolism, all play roles.

Yes because Xanax isn't exactly a narcotic that someone can put you in jail for. That is, unless you don't tell your parole officer you're taking it.
