All relationships are serious. Treat the person with respect. The relationship might not be one that turns into a lifelong relationship, but it might. In any case, the relationship means something now. Enjoy each other's company and don't worry whether it becomes something more.
People worry about the end of the relationship more than the middle. All relationships end eventually. That's not the important part. No matter how many relationships you have in your lifetime and no matter how long any last, they are friendships that you had during that time. Whether they are long or short, all relationships are successful if you enjoyed time with your partner while you were together.

i take my high school relation a bit too serious and i ended up marrying her. it was the best thing that happend to me so i dont think there is anything wrong with it

Absolutly! I'm a junior in highschool this year. My last girlfriend lasted two years. I ended up buying her a 200$ ring for Christmas. If that's not serious, IDK what is!!! My current gf has got a brok bf though. Lol. I take our relationship very seriously though!!!!!
