Why is that?

Why is it that if someone tells you that there is 1 billion stars in the universe you will believe them, but if they tell you a wall has wet paint on it you will have to touch it to be sure!

Because people who tell you about the number of stars in the univers are people with Phd's and other certifications, but the person who tells you about wet paint being on a wall probably doesn't have a college degree. My point is most people believe people with higher certifications more easily then someone who just stepped out of high school.

Apart from that the wall is closer and therefore easier to verify than the universe. Oh! and thanks for the 2 points.

Yo that is so f***ing true. Like when ppl take the public bus on the the top where its says the bus number it reads next stop is the last, and ppl get mad at the bus driver b/c they didnt read the sign above
