its a mans last night of freedom before the marriage.

Usually involves prostitutes or strippers, sometimes just porn movies. This depends on how evolved the bachelor is. Its like a rite of passage, not always a requirement, but is basically done a lot these days. I do not know where it originated, but I myself do not like the aspect of the "last night of freedom" I mean, if the bachelor wants to bedhop every night, why did he become engaged to be married to begin with.

Some men on the other hand, have fairly tame parties, that do not involve any kind of sexual theme at all, maybe just a get together with some old friends to do other things.

bachelor parties are notorious for trouble.

the importance factor usually is within the opinion of the bachelor, I cannot tell you what will happen though, thats all a matter of trust between the soon-to-be-bride and her man.

women have them too, bachelorette parties.....

all is fair in love and war. (well, wouldn't it be nice if it was)

A bachelor party (also called a stag party, stag night (UK, Ireland and Canada), or bucks party (Australia)) is a party held for a bachelor shortly before he enters marriage, to make the most of his final opportunity to engage in activities a new wife might not approve of, or merely to spend time bonding with his male friends (often in his wedding party afterwards).

A bachelor party may involve activities beyond the usual party and social gathering ingredients (often drinking alcohol and gambling), such as going to a strip club, hiring a female stripper or escort, and in some traditions more hazing-like tests and pranks at the future groom's expense, which shows the whole thing is also a rite of passage from bachelorhood (associated with an adolescent lifestyle, often in the common past of most participants, e.g. in their student years) to (more 'responsible') marital life.

The task of organizing a bachelor party is often traditionally assigned to a male sibling of the bachelor or to the best man; otherwise any (close and/or reputedly party-minded) male friend will organize it.

The tradition is thought to have originated with a bachelor dinner that was traditional in ancient

A stag party is the male equivalent of a hen night. The groom and all his male friends, best man etc etc all go on a huge night out, often involving large amounts of alcohol, strippers/lap dancers and ends with the groom being handcuffed to a lamp post or put on a train to Scotland.

It is starting to change now and they may go on a day out go carting or abroad for a weekend.

If you are female, you can't go!!

Best wishes.

A stag party is just a last night out with the boys strippers drinks ect.
It sort of just lets the poor guy thats about to be married let his hair down before he gets married.
Any reasonable guy thats about to get married would not have sex with a prostitute on this night if that is what you are worried about. And it is tradition in australia and probaly the usa.

Thats easy. Its a guy's last free night as a man to be with any woman he wants. But to keep it safe usually his best man and guy friends hire a stripper and she dances and stuff for him. I'm not sure about the requirement part, but it is very much a tradition. And for most ppl its not all that important. But its pretty much the same thing for women at their bachelorette party. Just a representation of the couple's last night as single ppl before they get married.

A party where your groom to be will screw a crack whore with ten of his best friends. It's a legal way for your devoted fiance to get layed and sucked before he does you. And perfectly acceptable I may add. It is customery for the Bride to be to Host the Best Mans bachelor's party and do ten men herself.
