Call out the instigators
Because there's something in the air
We've got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right
And you know that it's right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

Lock up the streets and houses
Because there's something in the air
We've got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right
And you know that it's right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together now

Hand out the arms and ammo
We're going to blast our way through here
We've got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution's here, and you know it's right
And you know that it's right

We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together
Now

Yep, have to agree with the other two - Thunderclap Newman. A UK Number one in 1969.

A great track, - from their one album "Hollywood Dream", but the only real hit was 'Something In the Air'. The album was produced by Pete Townsend of 'The Who'. The band broke up in 1970.

Andy 'Thunderclap' Newman had that real banging 'honkey-tonk' piano style. John 'Speedy' Keen played the drums, guitar and sang vocals. Jimmy McCulloch also played guitar, Jim Avery on the bass and Jack McCulloch on drums.

I think that 'Hollywood Dreams' is probably long out of print, but 'Something....' is available on a variety of compilation albums.
(I could send you an .mp3 of it, but it's probably very naughty to do so).
