Yes, it sounds like you have parasomnia. You are actually awake during your dream cycle. So you may be awake during your dream, and yet you are completely unable to move. It's in the same category as sleepwalking. If you feel really bothered by it, contact a sleep disorders specialist.

The whole time I was pregnant, I felt like my body didn't belong to me.
But I'm guessing that's not your problem. :o) See a doctor if it bothers you.
