Media Pleyer sucks reasorces, winamp is good but a combonatin of I Tunes and Quicktime is better

Winamp is very customisable, easy to use with keyboard shortcuts (z-b). I've been using it since 1999 and will always be my number one.

windows media player is notorious for sucking resources. I like my barebones mp3 player coolplayer

It has many plugins.... skins.. lot more sound enhancement features
