I assume that you, the girl, finds the boy cute/nice/etc etc. Otherwise why waste your and our time?
All questions should be exploratory - try to find his hobbies, likes and dislikes (and likewise tell yours, even if not asked). Should try to get his family details (but may postpone to the 2nd / 3rd date with the same guy).
Whether he loves pets and has any; any pet animals he dislikes. This is important - if he hates cats and you love cats (most likely) then you have problem.
Try to be nice and a little naughty. Use your eyes a lot to this purpose.
Small talks are the best for a 1st date. Within a short time you will know whether you want a 2nd date with this guy. Then become more cute and little more naughty.

I usually act like a bubblehead on the first date (just a lot of laughs)....and I keep the date under 3 hours. They need not know a lot of personal information and you're out to enjoy the evening. If you find that you can't take 3 hours of just chatting, then go to a restaurant and eat, so that you can spend some of the time feeding your face (even if you end up paying your part of the bill sometimes) while sizing them up, watch their manners, be aware of who they talk with on their cellphone and why the interruption, get their license plate, etc.

The first dates should be where you find a nice quiet place where you can talk and get to know each other. Don't be afraid to ask and answer personal questions about each other. This is where you find out whether or not the person that you are with is relationship potential. Ask the other person about who they are. What do they do in life? What do they like to do in their free time? What are their goals? etc, etc, etc.
Most important thing to remember is to be open, smile, relax and have fun. :)

most of all u'll be talking about ur interests. style of life what u like and what u dislike. u know stuff and details to know 1 another in a better way.
