india is different from the rest of the world(but then so is every country) it identifies cows as sacred so it does not eat a lot of meat. bread is not normally grown there just so u know for ur last question.

Most Indians and Hindus and therefore vegans. They believe in reincarnation and thus do not wish to eat to many animals. Cows are also seen as sacred and so you will not find much beef in India.
