His name is Judah, not Juda.

He was scared of the Romans because they knew he was a follower of Jesus. Many Jesus followers were tortured or killed. He was also weak in his faith. At first he accepted money from the leaders but after he witnessed Jesus' arrest and saw the Roman soliders beat Him over and over, he realized what he did was wrong and gave the money back. Then he let all that guilt eat at him and he decided that he was evil for turning Jesus over to them so Judah killed himself 2 days later.

Judas was a Zealot, basically he held strong antiRoman terrorist ideals. He believed that the Messiah was going to come back and lead an army to return the Holy Land to the Israelites (they are still waiting). He was a little irrated that Jesus wanted to wander around the countryside and teach rather then declare Jihad on the Romans. He didn't really turn Jesus in for silver. 30 peices, or 20 (can't remember) wasn't a lot, he was just mad at Jesus for not being what he wanted him to be. I mean not only did Jesus not stir up insurection among the Israelites, he told them to obey Caeser.

Judas betrayed Jesus because he was tempted to do so. I believe that the moral of the story is showing how man succumbs to sin and temptation. He was an apostle of Jesus, but for the right price, he ratted him out.

Judas betrayed Jesus because of selfish ambition which is love of money. He sold Jesus to the leaders to kill Him. But it's all part of God's plan, we can't revised it.

Because Jesus was against the tide, didn't love money, was kind to poor. While Judah was looking for glory & wealth. He wanted to be famous. But when he found that there is a great opposition from the priests & teh system. He thought that He would change his mind & be with the winning team ( the world) Also the bible said that the devil spirit entered him. Right after, He repented a lot & he knoew he did a crime. But was too desperate to ask forgiveness so he killed himself

He loved money. It says that he was a keeper of the treasurer but he was a thief. Also I imagine it had to do with jealousy as I don't believe that he thought Jesus was the son of God. But in the end he knew that he had made a mistake for which he could not forgive himself. ( 30 pieces of Silver)

Judas was influenced by Satan, not knowing that he actually elevated Jesus to a higher position!

If Jesus could predict about Judah's betrayal, was it not preordained? Was it not because of him Jesus was led to Crucifixion, that in turn, led to his deification? His name will be remembered along side that of Jesus. Judah had his role cut out by God, in the scheme of things.
