Hey guys, I'm 16 and I've been staying up till 4-5 AM. (Talking to my GF, yes I know I'm crazy lol) and I was wondering if this is dangerous for my health, I do sleep in and wake up as late as possible so it can't be bad can it?

lol, well during the day my parents never give me privacy and always listen to our convos >.< this is the only time to actually talk "safely"

No problem as long as you get your 8 hours sleep a day

Yes it is because you are awake during the night and sleeping during the day. Your body needs like to function properly. Missing daylight effects your Carcadean rhythems casing depression and lathargia (sleepiness and low energy). As a Teenager you need about 10 hours of sleep a night.

No, as long as you're getting enough sleep, it doesn't matter what time you go to sleep. I'm a night person so I'm always up this late and then I sleep late.

I do that with my boyfriend and I'm just as old.
You're fine. Just make sure you get enough sleep and eat alright.
And get into some kind of sleeping pattern that way you'll be alright when you go back to school.

Kids your age need at least 8 hours of sleep every night. It doesn't matter when you get it, as long as it's in a dark room, and is uninterrupted.

I'M SORRY...IT IS BAD FOR YOU...YOUR ONLY 16 AND YOU STILL NEED YOUR SLEEP...YOUNG MEN ARE LATE BLOOMERS IN GROWTH TO ADULTED HOOD YOU HAVE 3-4 YRS TO COMPLETE YOUR GROWING UP AND NEED ALL THE REST YOU CAN GET...SO YOU WILL HAVE TO CUT YOUR TIME WAY DOWN ON YOUR TALKS WITH YOUR GIRL...YOUR STILL LEARNING,SO IT THE REST YOU NEED... i do no longer think of so. in case you reside up overdue, it does not effect your dermis from what ive heard and experienced. i often pass to mattress at 10:00 or 11:00p.m, ocasionally 12:00. my dermis is often high quality. i do have some zits, yet no extra desirable than familiar.

i have no clue. i've been staying up late also but i don't sleep that much though mostly because i'm a full time student& i have a part time job. i'm around your age. thank goodness there's mountain dew& sierra mist. :)

Not getting enough sleep is bad for you-when you get it is irrelevant.
I'm curious though-can't you and your girl talk in the daytime?

actually it is...according to statistics, people who sleep in daytime and are awake at night time get complications when they're 30...and you're just 16...you need to grow...
